きのう フットボールゲーム を ともだち と みましあ。 とっても たのしかった！ きのう モール で かわいい くつ を かいました。 そして、 パアチ に いきました。

I just got up at 1:15pm today.. and ran to the dining hall to get there before closing time.
Yesterday I went shoe shopping at the mall... and went to the football game... then hung out with Graver-san.
Today I am going to study a little.

My Day
こんにちわ！私きょうまちがって９：１０におきました。日本語のクラスは９：３０からでしたので、ちゅっと遅れました。
ふつうは、まいにち７：００におきて、８：３０のクラスにいきます。あさごはんは セレアゥです。じゅぎゅう おわったら、ともだちと ひるごはんをたべにいきます。そのあと、３：００まで じゅぎゅうがあります。 じゅぎゅうおわりましたら、しゅくだいを ばんごはんまでにします。ぜんぶおわりましたら、レァクスをします。ふつうは、ごぜん １：００ぐらいまでに ねます。
きょうは、ぶようきです。
Yes, so I’m sick today… and I missed my 8:30 chemistry class and was late to my 9:30 Japanese class. Not a very good day for me.
At least it’s Friday!
I’m very homesick, but since I live in Germany I can’t just go back home whenever I want. Luckily, my aunt lives about an hour away from Notre Dame… so today I will take the bus or hitch-hike to her house, and spend the night at her lake-house in Syracuse, Indiana. Then tomorrow we’ll watch the football game on TV, and I’ll be back on campus Saturday night to party! (especially if we win the game!) I can’t wait to have her home-cooked meals… dining hall food is getting old.

えりちゃん
こんにちは。わたしの名前は、シャノンえりかです。わたしは、ノートルダムだいがくのいちねんせいです。せんこうは、いがくです。わたしは、ドイツからきましたが、アメリカじんです。どうぞよろしくおねがいします。
Hello! My name is Erika Shannon. I'm originally from Heidelberg, Germany, but right now I'm a student at the University of Notre Dame.
My father works for the government, so my family moves around a lot. We've been stationed in Japan twice, but since I've lived in Germany for so long, I've lost most of my Japanese speaking ability. I'm currently studying Japanese because I'd love to go study abroad, plus I'd like to improve my speaking skills and learn to read/write.
So far we've learned hiragana. I'm nervous about starting katakana though, because it seems harder to learn. These first three weeks have gone by so fast. My class is great and I've already made some amazing friends :)
